# Fees

> Every fee you can pay with Hypertake, ours and Hyperliquid's, and when each is charged

Source: https://hypertake.net/docs/fees · Last updated: 2026-10-17

Hypertake charges a **builder fee**, a fee Hyperliquid lets interfaces add to orders they send: **nothing on outcome buys, 1% on outcome sells and 0.1% on perps orders**. Hyperliquid charges its own trading fees on top, and deposits and withdrawals have their own network costs.

- **$0**: Hypertake fee on an outcome buy
- **1%**: Hypertake fee on an outcome sell, including a take profit
- **0.1%**: Hypertake fee on a perps order, opening or closing

## All fees in one table

| When | Hypertake | Hyperliquid | Others |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Buy an outcome | None | None to open, per Hyperliquid's fee rules | None |
| Sell an outcome (or take profit fills) | 1% of the sale | Its outcome fee on closing | None |
| Hold to settlement | None | Its outcome fee at settlement | None |
| Perps order (open or close) | 0.1% of the order value | Its perps taker/maker fee (from 0.045% / 0.015% at the base tier) | A builder-deployed market's own fees, if any |
| Perps position held | None | Funding, paid or received hourly | None |
| Deposit | None | About $1 once, if your Hyperliquid account is new | Relay's fee and Arbitrum gas, shown before you confirm |

_Hyperliquid's own rates depend on your volume tier and can change; see Hyperliquid's fee page for the current schedule._

## How the builder fee works

Hyperliquid lets an interface attach a fee to the orders it sends, up to a maximum each user approves once. When you turn on one-tap trading, your wallet signs an approval of a **1% maximum** for Hypertake's builder address. Each order then carries its actual fee (0, 1% or 0.1% as above), which Hyperliquid charges at the fill and pays to Hypertake. Hypertake never handles the money.

> **Info**
> The approved maximum is 1% because that's the highest fee Hypertake uses (outcome sells). Perps orders are charged 0.1%, and Hyperliquid caps builder fees on perps at 0.1% regardless. See [Builder fee](https://hypertake.net/docs/security/builder-fee.md) for how to check or revoke the approval.

**Example: What a round trip costs**
- Buy $100 of Yes at 50¢: 200 shares. Hypertake fee: $0.
- Sell all 200 at 60¢ for $120. Hypertake fee: 1% = $1.20, plus Hyperliquid's outcome fee on closing.
- Or hold to settlement: if Yes wins, 200 × $1 = $200, less Hyperliquid's settlement fee. Hypertake fee: $0.

> **Warning: What the screens show**
> Sell proceeds and the "If you buy" figures are shown before the 1% sell fee; a take profit's profit is shown after it. On perps, the ticket's fee line shows Hyperliquid's base rate and doesn't yet include Hypertake's 0.1%.
